Travis Smiley

Statistician 

Travis Smiley is a Statistician with Silberman Law, focused on preparing a broad range of equity analytics, including pay equity analyses, wage gap-pay parity analyses, diversity lifecycle analyses, and pre-employment assessment validation study analyses, He brings excellent, attention to detail, project management, and communication skills to his role with our firm.


Travis obtained his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from California Baptist University and he went on to receive his Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Colorado, Denver. Travis was recognized as the Grand Prize winner at the CU, Denver Data to Policy Symposium in 2022. He currently is pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from CU, Denver. His area of research is focused on creating measures of equity using mathematical and statistical models to help cities provide an equitable distribution of resources and amenities to their citizens. 


Travis also teaches undergraduate courses in mathematics and statistics at CU, Denver. 

Travis is a husband, a “dog dad”, and an avid Colorado Avalanches fan. He loves to spend his free time running, playing disc golf, and enjoying the great outdoors.
